Lone Star Select would like to ask that all of our members, friends, and family take a few moments and pray for the family of Stacie White. Stacie White passed away yesterday after dental surgery. She leaves behind a husband and family of 3 young children. Dakota White, Stacie’s son is a ball player on one of the Carthage teams. Lone Star would like to ask that at each game this weekend during the around the mound prayer we mention this family and that we also leave a vacant chair by the back stop in remembrance of Stacie.

Coaches and Teams,

We have received a couple calls asking if we will take late registration teams. Yes, we will be happy to have your team play with us. We will keep the registration open until Tuesday March 5th. Anyone joining late will need to register online and pay the fees ASAP via mail, PayPal or phone arrangements. Special conditions will allow teams even after this date until March 22nd however teams must contact the league President in order to join between March 5th and 22nd.

After questioning coaches and meeting with the board a decision has been made to use the Diamond DLL-1 baseball for our offical game ball. The following list of sites have the balls at a reduced price.

The balls can also be purchased locally at most sporting good stores. For returning teams who have pronine balls left you may use them until all are gone this season.

The end of the registration period is up coming in ten days. If you’re a team out there and want to play please complete your registrations ASAP. Also please register your team for the preseason tournament. If your not a registered with LSS you can still enter for the cost posted on our registration page.
